My Profile

Your profile contains all the information about you that your friends and other SoccerManager members see. You can easily restrict what parts of your profile people can see from the Account Settings page.

Details

The Details page allows you to set your name, date of birth, location and your favourite football club.

Change your contact details

Change your contact details and your favourite real life club via the Edit Details page.

Why can't I edit my First name or Surname?

You can only change the name on your Profile once (in case you have spelt it wrong on registering or similar).

There is no need for ANY manager to constantly change their name.

To compensate for this there is a facility to create a manager nickname, which will be displayed next to manager name if chosen.

Account Settings

The Account Settings page allows you to set your email address, change your password, name, preferences, and picture.

Click the My Account link top right of every page to quickly go to this page.

Change Password

Here you can edit your account login password. Your new password will be required the next time you login. Use the Forgotten Password page if required.

Edit Preferences

Change your Email Notification and Friends Comment preferences via the Edit Preferences page.

Mobile/Cell number

Enter your mobile/cell number for future mobile services. We will NOT pass on your mobile number to any other service providers without your express permission.

Picture

The Edit Picture page allows you to set your Profile Picture. Your profile picture is the photo of you that displays on your profile and on Private Messages.

Add/Edit Picture

Upload new photo to your account for other to see. Upload a Picture for all your friends and other managers to see. Max Size: 100KB || Type: .jpg or .gif || Recommended Size: 340x220. NOTE: Pictures may not contain nudity, violent or offensive material, or copyrighted images. If you violate these terms your account will be deleted and you will loose all your clubs.

I can't upload my photo/picture?

Make sure your picture is within these constraints - max Size: 100KB || Type: .jpg or .gif || Recommended Size: 340x220. If you have any problems Write us a message via the Support.

Why has my photo/picture been deleted/removed?

Your photo has been removed due to offensive or copyright imagery. NOTE: Pictures may not contain nudity, violent or offensive material, or copyrighted images. If you violate these terms your account will be deleted and you will lose all your clubs.

My Clubs

This lists the clubs you currently manage showing club badge, club name, league name (Game World name) and owner of the Game World.

What is the list of clubs on my profile?

This is a list of all the clubs you currently manage. Clicking the Club Name link with display a Club profile with information on: Manager Points, Honours, League History and Squad List.

My Friends

This is a list of all your friends on Soccer Manager.

View your friends via your Profile page

This shows a list of your friends on Soccer Manager. Beneath this you will see the comments your friends have left about you.

Manager/Reputation Points

Within Soccer Manager there are currently two forms of points awarded being 'Manager Points' and 'Reputation Points. Please note these are entirely seperate.

Difference between Manager Points/Reputation Points?

Manager Points: Are awarded for wins, draws, league titles, cup titles and if you win against a team that is stronger than your own. Reputation Points: Each manager starts with a reputation on Level 4 and has 40 Reputation Points (RP). Every week managers gain 1 Reputation Point (RP).

What are Manager Points?

Manager Points explained

This option is selected from the top menu on your home page. The top 50 managers are listed based on our manager point scoring system. Points are awarded for wins, draws, league titles, cup titles and if you beat a team that is stronger than your own.

Viewing Manager Points

To see how many manager points you have accumulated for each club you are currently managing on the navigation menu select My Home > Profile > and click the club you want to view. You will then be displayed with the following information above the club you have selected:

Total Points: X Number Games: X Average Points: X

Please Note: The record for each club is unique and it is not a record for all of the clubs you currently manage.

What is Reputation?

Each manager starts with a reputation on Level 4 and has 40 Reputation Points (RP). Every week managers gain 1 Reputation Point (RP). Your reputation will have an affect on several aspects of Soccer Manager. First, on which Game World Types you can enter as Gold Game Worlds have a minimum entry requirement of 40+ and a Custom Game World owner can select a minimum reputation level for entry. Second, on how many clubs you can manager within your account. Lastly, how other managers within Soccer Manager view you within the game.
